RD Quantum Overview
RD Quantum is a mobile data terminal that facilitates on-site data access to any RD system. The new version, RD Quantum 2 also facilitates data entry and offline data submission back to the public administration system such as xCAS.
RD Quantum has been built using Google Android and PostgreSQL technologies. It is available for download on Google Play and accesible with an xCAS account.
The app is currently in use by the governments of Sierra Leone, Mali, Liberia and Ghana.

NOTE: You must have a xCAS user account to use RD Quantum
Login with your xCAS username
NOTE: Your system administrator must first enable your xCAS account for Quantum usage.
You will need to select the correct xCAS country server.
Synchronize to download data
On your home screen, you will see the last synchronization date and the dataset that was uploaded. You are now ready to use the data.
Search, find and lookup licenses
There are multiple ways to search the dataset and find the application, license or owner you are looking for.
RD Quantum will list applications and license by type, status, owner or the proximity of the concession based on your location. You can also use the search button located on the top menu to narrow down your inquiry.
See the licenses map, and navigate to it
For each license, there is a map showing the entire area in relation to where you are. You will be able to see the direction and distance of the area or, whether you are currently in the concession area.
File a report for others to follow up on
In a license or application profile, you can create a note to describe your findings. Next time you synchronize, your colleagues and other Quantum users will be able to view your note and respond to it.

Is RD Quantum available on Google Play?
Yes, this app is distributed through Google Play and will be automatically upgraded with newer versions.
Does RD Quantum work offline or in areas without data coverage?
Yes, the data is stored on the phone and transfered once in an area with data coverage or when connected to your computer via a USB cable.

Log Data

We may use and store information about your location, if you give us permission to do so. We use this information to provide features of our Service such as GPS to improve and customize our Service. You can enable or disable location services when you use our Service at anytime, through your mobile device settings.
